5 Easy Ways to Feel Feminine NOW!

Ladies, here are five super easy ways to feel feminine that you can apply right now! Perhaps you have always been girly or maybe you’ve recently begun to make peace with your femininity and have already started reaping the benefits.

Try to apply one of these tips a day until they become second nature. Enjoy!

1. Wear pastel colors

Wear pastel colors or any other color that your husband wouldn’t be caught dead in! Something that makes you feel girly and playful. Extra points if texture is soft too!

On my wishlist: the iconic Fifi Chachnil angora cardigan.

Remember, the more feminine the color, the more masculine he will feel. Accentuate the differences.

2. Choose a hair accessory

It’s ridiculous how much better I feel when I wear a simple hair accessory. Whether it’s a headband, a little clip, or even one of those scrunchies with a bow. I feel so cute and feminine it immediately puts a smile on my face.

3. Smell good

I know it sounds obvious but we can often overlook the importance of this. Our sense of smell is a very powerful thing. However, a little perfume goes a long way.

I’m not saying you have to spritz expensive scents to smell good. Perhaps just a quick shower using your favorite shower gel and then a lovely body lotion. Smelling good not only improves your mood and how you feel about yourself but it will also attract your significant other.

4. Bake something

As I write this, I can still smell the lingering scent of the chocolate chip cookies I baked an hour ago. It is so cozy and makes me feel like a legit domestic goddess. The fact is, I’m quite new to baking.

I wasn’t taught how to bake anything growing up and I have basically started from scratch quite recently. Nothing could prepare me for the feeling of accomplishment you feel while contemplating your creation.

It not only makes me feel feminine, but “brimming with good things” as Nigella Lawson writes in “How to be a Domestic Goddess.

5. Wear (at least) one item of jewelry.

I always, and I mean always, wear earrings. I didn’t get my ears pierced until I was 21 funnily enough. My ears slightly stick out so I avoided wearing earrings up to that point.

But I figured out what looks good on me and I love wearing my pearl studs on a daily basis – I even wore them on my wedding day!

If you don’t like wearing earrings, how about a nice necklace? A charm bracelet?

I think wearing some item of jewelry will always enhance our femininity as it is something men don’t really wear and anything that enhances our differences is usually a good thing, as it inspires masculinity.
